Wildkats scoring barrage continues
They keep on rolling. The Columbia Falls girls soccer team blew out two opponents last week.
On Sept. 23, the Wildkats handled the Polson Lady Pirates 7-0. Danielle Delventhal had four goals and McKenzie Kiser had a hat trick in the rout.
Madison Sandefer, Cortney White and Cedar Jordt all had assists as the Kats outshot Polson 15-3 in a dominant effort.
"They looked good," Wildkat coach Greg Trenerry said. "They passed the ball well."
On Sept. 20, Delventhal had a hat trick, Kiser had two goals and a host of teammates scored as the Wildkats thumped Stillwater Christian School 10-1 in nonconference action.
Also scoring were Melissa Livingston, Julia Burgi, Cortney White, Tayler Gress and Madison Sandefer. The Kats outshot Stillwater 27-2.
The girls travel to Polson on Thursday and to Libby on Saturday for two conference games. The Kats are 5-0 in league play and 8-1 overall.
