The Harlem Ambassadors will take on the C-Town Champions in an entertaining basketball match-up at the Columbia Falls High School on Saturday, Oct. 29, beginning at 7 p.m.

Hailing from Colorado, the Ambassadors will face a crew of championship players and coaches from Columbia Falls in a lively co-ed game.

The event will raise money for the local Kiwanis Club, the high school's Key Club and the junior high's Builders Club. The Kiwanis Club is raising money for an international program that will provide pre-natal tetanus shots.

Plans in the works call for the Ambassadors meeting with junior high students on Friday, Oct. 28, for a youth presentation called "Stay In School, Stay Off Drugs."

Meadow Lake Resort will provide rooms for the team, and the Back Room will provide a meal.

Advance tickets are $8 seniors and students, $10 adults and free for children under-4. Tickets at the door will be $10 seniors and adults and $12 adults. Advance tickets are available at Lyle Mitchell Insurance Agency and Freedom Bank, both on the U.S. 2 strip.
