Val Schweigert

Val Rueben Schweigert, 55, died unexpectedly at home Sept. 30, 2011, with his loving wife of 34 years at his side.

Val was born March 19, 1956, to Fred and Flo Schweigert of Kalispell. He married Cheryl Kay Trinastich, of Columbia Falls, on April 23, 1977.

Val worked at the Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. plant before operating his own businesses, Second Time Around Roller Rink and STARR Incorporated, a snow plow, landscape and maintenance business, .

He is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughter Kari Peters and husband Tyler; daughter Katie Schweigert; sister Billie Wray, of Billings; brother Brian Wray, of Kalispell; brother Bob Schweigert, of Kalispell; brother Ken Schweigert, of Columbia Falls; and sister Tana Greene, of Kalispell.

A celebration of life memorial took place Oct. 8, 2011, in the Evergreen Junior High School gymnasium.
