One up for election on school board

One seat is up for grabs on the

Somers-Lakeside School District board of trustees for the election

in May

Those interested in running for the

three-year term must submit paperwork to the district by March 24.

The position is currently held by Alice Blasdel.

Forms are available from the district

at Somers Middle School. Petitions must have the signatures of five

qualified voters from the district and are due back to the district

clerk by no later than 4 p.m. March 24. The election will be held

May 3.
