Swim team makes improvements at Conrad meet
The Columbia Falls swim team saw a big improvement over last week, shaving 235 seconds from their previous best times as they took third at the Conrad meet last weekend.
Cooper Babcock and Tyler Langton had high-point honors in the 8-and-under division, and Danny Henjum had high-point honors in the 9-10 division.
Colton Babcock and Kryssa Nelson were second in the 11-12 age group, and Vincent Erickson was second in the 15-plus age bracket.
"Our younger men had their ‘A' game going as they racked up the points," coach Mike Nelson said. "We also had excellent swims from newcomers Haylie Peacock, Kimberly Peacock, Anson Ingraham and Kelton Thomas."
The team travels to Cut Bank this weekend. Their home meet will be on July 3-4.
