The Bigfork Eagle runs obituaries at cost to those individuals with a connection to the Bigfork area.

A death notice may be placed free of charge. A death notice is defined as a brief notice announcing the death of a local person or a person with local survivors.

The cost for an obituary is $25 for the first six inches. Additional inches are $5 per inch. A picture is measured as part of the obituary and is normally an additional inch. The cost can be estimated by counting the number of words and dividing by 33 to get the number of inches. A photo can be included and is measured as an additional inch in the final total.

Deadlines are Monday at noon for that Wednesday's edition.
