Kane Allan Hermann, son of Samantha Large and Chase Hermann, of Whitefish, was born Jan. 4, 2010, at North Valley Hospital.

He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Bart Hermann, of Fortine, and Lisa Sterzl, of Martin City.

Maternal grandparents are Michael and Natalie Large, of Whitefish.
