The 13th annual Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce Garage Sale is Friday, Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon at 400 Ninth St. West. Clean our your store, garage or home. Pick up is available for donated goods (please, no clothing) or drop of items Sept. 30 from noon to 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit city projects, including the Children’s Holiday Village and the new city sign. The United Methodist CROP Hunger Walk is Sunday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. The walk helps raise funds to provide food and water to families around the world, with 25 percent going to the Columbia Falls Food Bank. For more information visit www.churchworldservice.org.
