It is the evening of 9/11 in 2010. In the last hour I have relived that morning through the eyes of cameras, reporters, citizens, firefighters, police and rescued victims, and again witnessed one of the most horrible sights — victims jumping to their deaths from unimaginable heights.

The program ended with President George W. Bush telling America that the foundations of those buildings were shaken, but the foundation of America cannot be destroyed.

Think about that: Are our foundations of honor, integrity, faith and morality falling? Are we today the firm foundation that all those who have gone before us forged?

Are we living worthy of the arms, legs, eyes, mental peace and the ultimate, the lives, lost by those who serve in the military to protect our freedoms?

Do we appreciate the blessings and greatness of America enough to fill out and drop an absentee voting ballot in the mailbox, or to spend less than an hour out of one day to go to a polling place and vote?

Do we take the time before hand to study what the candidates stand for?

Do they believe in governing in ways that will preserve our freedoms, or do they want to eat our freedoms away, like cancer that often does its destruction so silently and unfelt that a person might not know until his life is almost gone what had been occurring.

It's time for every eligible person to choose their side, to know what they stand for and what they want those they elect on all levels of government to stand for.

Vote for those who will serve to obtain the best interests of our cities, our villages, the farmlands, the forests, our waters and most of all the people of Montana and of the United States of America.

Will God bless America? Will America honor God?
