Jack Nisbet will present “An Appetite for the Country: Coming into the Flathead” Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6:30- 10 p.m. at Glacier Discovery Square. This Crown of the Continent presentation will chase British fur trader David Thompson, Scottish naturalist David Douglas, and the wildly varied mix of crewmen, tribal guides and family members who taught them how to move between the Rocky Mountains and the Columbia River. Spokane-based teacher and naturalist Jack Nisbet is the author of several books.
