Edward Harper

Edward R. Harper, 59, of Kihei, Hawaii,

passed away Nov. 2, 2010, after suffering from early-onset

Alzheimer’s disease for the past few years.

Edward was born Dec. 25, 1950, in

Oklahoma City to Raymond and Adah Harper. He graduated from the

University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975 and practiced

Optometry in El Reno, Okla., until his early retirement in

2004.

He is survived by his wife Susan

Harper, of Kihei; daughter Jennifer Tapler, her husband Joel and

their son Dean, all of Kahului, Hawaii; son Jeremy Harper, of

Whitefish; and numerous cousins, relatives and good friends.

A celebration of life and scattering of

ashes will be held on Maui at a later date.
