Skybridge here forever

I can't help but comment on the skywalk placed across Wisconsin Avenue at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake to their new addition on the east side of the road.

Since we are being forced to look at this forever, I hoped it would be designed creatively and tastefully with an airy light look and lots of glass and maybe even an arch.

It would be putting it mildly to say the structure is not attractive. It is heavy and plain looking. It reminds me of a section taken from a cheap motel. Being on a slant makes it look out of place, like it is temporarily teetering there. I hesitate to drive under it.

Gosh, we have to look at this and drive under it from now on. What a disappointment to have this to look at for those of us who live out this way and those who are guests here. Check it out and see what you think.
