Tickets have already sold out for the 8 p.m. Valentine's Day performance of Elvis, played by entertainer Ryan Pelton, in Bigfork.

Due to the demand for the concert, a 2 p.m. matinee performance has been added to Pelton's visit to the Village. Both performances of Love Me Tender: Elvis Live in Concert will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets for the matinee are also expected to go quickly, organizers say.

"We started taking names for a waiting list on Wednesday (Jan. 27)," says Mary Jo Naive, concert coordinator for the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. "It was heart-breaking to have folks call for tickets and tell them there were no more available. We immediately started working with Ryan Pelton to add a second show, and we are incredibly fortunate to get him for a Valentine's Day matinee performance."

Elvis fans have certainly already turned out, according to ticket sellers. One caller talked about his extensive collection of Elvis-related memorabilia, including several signed photos, and another man begged for tickets, half joking that if he turned up empty handed he'd literally be in the doghouse.

Concert tickets are $27.50 and can be purchased online at www.bigforktheater.org or at tix.com.

Tickets are also available at Merry Gems, Jug Tree and Artisans in Bigfork.Want to learn more about Pelton? Check next week's Bigfork Eagle for a story about the performer.
