BSC to address insurance questions

The Bigfork Steering Committee will look to clarify some confusion over its insurance after members raised questions Thursday at the group's monthly meeting.

BSC has paid roughly $1,200 for insurance for its members and members of the Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee, of which BSC is a subcommittee. Chair Craig Wagner said two different answers had been received from Flathead County officials on whether BLUAC was covered under the county's insurance.

Members argued that since BLUAC is a county committee that it should be covered and that as a subcommittee of BLUAC, BSC might be covered as well.

Wagner said he would look into the issue again and seek answers in writing to clarify the situation.
