Focus On The Family, co-hosted by Patrick and Wendy Sullivan and Ralph and Stephanie Boyer, will present a seven-week class for couples or singles called “Love And Respect” at Christ Lutheran Church on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. starting Jan. 14. Feat x Feet, Montana’s only tap-performing company, will present their 11th annual original tap show at the O’Shaughnessy on Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. This year, Feat x Feet will present “Tap: Confidential,” their own version of an evening of mystery, with a line-up of dances with all new choreography. Tickets are $18 evenings and $15 matinees, all seats reserved, available by calling 471-0546. A portion of all ticket sales will go towards a scholarship fund for Feat x Feet member travel. The O’Shaughnessy box office will open one hour prior to each show and will sell tickets if available.

Fish, Wildlife & Parks will hold a Northwest Montana hearing on the 2010-2011 tentative hunting regulations at the Red Lion Hotel, Kalispell Center Mall, on Saturday, Jan. 16. The proposed regulations cover all hunting in Montana except furbearers and migratory waterfowl. FWP Commissioner Bob Ream, who represents western Montana, will listen to the comments. This is the main hearing for collecting public comment from hunters across Region 1. The Commission will adopt final regulations at its Feb. 11 meeting in Helena. The Commission approved the tentative regulations Dec. 10, available online at http://fwp.mt.gov and follow the “2010-11 Hunting Season Comments” link under “For Hunters.” Printed copies will be available at the public meetings. Comments gathered at the meetings will be submitted to the Commission before regulations are finalized. People also may submit comments online by following the link to “2010-11 Hunting Season Comments” on http://fwp.mt.gov and filling out a form. All comments are due by Jan 22.

Flathead Audubon will lead a cross-country skiing and birding trip in Glacier National Park on Saturday, Jan. 16. The party will ski along the old Flathead Ranger Station Road to the Quarter Circle Bridge, and then along the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Skiers may see American dippers, waterfowl and bald eagles. Meet at the trailhead near the concession barn on the Apgar Lookout Road at 8 a.m. For more information, all Steve Gniadek at 892-7406.

The Columbia Falls Community Choir will begin practice for the 2010 concert season at the Columbia Falls Junior High School on Sunday, Jan. 17, with sign-ins and music pick-up from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and practice starting right afterwards. The Flathead Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited will host a public presentation on “Trout Fishing and Native Fish Research in Kamchatka Russia” on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. in the public meeting room at the Fish, Wildlife and Parks building in Kalispell.
