The West Shore News has provided the community with news and useful information for more than a decade. As a local newspaper, we strive for excellence, relevance and fairness because we are dedicated to our core values of accurate and responsible journalism. We not only report on the community, but act as an involved citizen.

WHAT WE ARE

The West Shore News is a free weekly newspaper that comes out each Wednesday and covers the West Shore of Flathead Lake including Somers, Lakeside, Rollins and Dayton.

NEWS TIPS

The West Shore News welcomes and encourages any and all suggestions for covering topics and events that might be relevant to the West Shore community. While staff and time limitations prevent us from covering every story that might interest our readers, we try to cover news and events that affect the largest parts of the community. To submit suggestions or ideas for our coverage, please contact us at editor@westshorenewsonline.com. If you have a breaking news tip, please contact the editor by phone at 837-5131.

CORRECTIONS

The West Shore News is committed to providing the West Shore community with the most accurate information possible. The West Shore News never knowingly publishes inaccuracies. If any error is found, we are obliged to correct the error as soon as possible, regardless of the source of the error. This includes all matters of fact, including the misspelling of proper names. OPINION POLICY

The West Shore News welcomes letters to the editor and guest columns on topics of general interest to people of the West Shore and the surrounding area.  We reserve the right to reject or edit letters for content and length.
