Christmas Stroll

Way to go Whitefish. Great job on the

design for the 2010 Christmas Stroll poster. Absolutely no

religious symbols at all. Red mittens and a vague reference to a

shining gold star on a “snow ghost” — how holiday-ish.

And to top it all off, the Shortest

Christmas Parade in the World. Why even bother? What brain trust

came up with that lame idea? That is just awesome.

But the best of all is the first annual

keg-pull for our area dogs. That is so great, one last kick in the

pants of the overbearing, pushy Christian Christmas-loving folks.

How much more not-Christmasy can we get?

Take that, you people that force all

that religious stuff on us. We can now celebrate as we want without

any acknowledgment of the reason for the season. We all know it is

all just make believe anyway. Right? Like Santa and the Easter

Bunny?

Whatever. Good luck with your new and

improved Christmas Stroll. You won’t see me there.
