Fetveit, Shellerud take council seats

The Lakeside Community Council will gain two new faces after Tuesday's election.

Three candidates vied for the two open three-year terms on the council. With the highest vote totals, David Fetveit with 269 votes and Gene Shellerud with 184 votes will take the seats. Robert Berreth received 163 votes.

The seats were held by Gregg Schoh and Janet Heinze and neither ran for re-election. The council meets on the last Tuesday of every month, usually at 7 p.m. in the Lakeside Sewer District Building on Bierney Creek Road.
