Serving with search an honor

We wanted to acknowledge the distinct honor and privilege it was in representing the Bigfork School District Board of Trustees and your current superintendent.

Each and every trustee and Dr. [Russ' Kinzer devoted a great deal of time, energy and insight into the decision that was best for your children.

You truly could not have asked for more.

Thank you for letting us be part of your team.

David and Paula Bruno

Editor's note: David Bruno, who is the vice chairman and managing director of the executive search service DHR International, and his wife Paula assisted the school district pro bono with the search for a new superintendent.

Vote Postlewait for school board

I am in full support of Heather Postlewait, candidate for the Bigfork school board.

She is from a family raised to believe in our constitutional system of government, which provides the foundation for strong meaningful citizenship. She is convinced that these principles begin in the early stages of learning.

As never before, we find our country at the crossroads and in need of enlightened, knowledgeable citizens both at the local and world levels.

The future is upon us. Heather wishes to continue the sound education that Bigfork has striven to provide for its students.

She looks forward to working with the new superintendent whom she feels is bringing with her up-to-date views and strength in educational policies and procedures.

By participating on the school board, Heather represents strong family values so important in complementing the schooling which lays the ground-work for productive lives, wholesome families and ethical leadership in our communities and country.
