The Flathead Valley Community College Student Government will host a free Halloween Carnival for Kids Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. in the Arts and Technology Building on the college’s Kalispell campus. Open to parents and their children under age 8, the event will include face painting, cookie decorating, bouncing eyeballs game and other festive games. The North Valley Baptist Church, 1750 Talbot Rd., will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 31, 5:30-7 p.m. Carnival games, prizes and candy, but no scary costumes, please.
