Danny Richards

Danny Richards, 91, of Columbia Falls, formerly of Bemidji, Minn. passed away Sep. 16, 2009 at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls.

Danny was a World War II Veteran who served in Africa, the Battle of the Bulge and Baton. He worked for Plum Creek from the 1950's until his retirement in the 1980's.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marge, his parents, a brother, twin sisters, and two great-grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his son, Thomas (Karen) Strassburg of Bemidji, Minn.; brother Lawrence of Phoenix, Ariz.; two granddaughters; and four great-granchildren.

Per Danny's request no services were held. Following cremation his remains were buried next to his wife's in the Columbia Falls Cemetery.
