Sixth-grader's plea: buckle up

| November 26, 2009 10:00 PM

To the editor,

I'm a sixth grader from Columbia Falls Junior High. I say don't drink and drive, and always wear your seat belt. I have two reasons I say this. One is because it's the law. Reason two is because my uncle died when a friend drove too fast and went into a ditch. My uncle wasn't wearing a seat belt.

If you drink and drive, you are leaving your family behind. Think before you get into the driver's seat, and always wear your seat belt.
