W. Robert (Bob) Henderson

W. Robert "Bob" Henderson, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home in Hungry Horse. He was born in a farmhouse Jan. 21, 1939, in Sunnyside, Wash. He attended school in Sunnyside until he was 16. He then moved to East Glacier with his aunt, uncle and cousins. He returned to Sunnyside and finished the 9th grade.

Bob retired from the Columbia Falls Aluminum Plant when he hurt his back in 1986. His love was working on cars as long as they were a Chevy. He loved going out to his shop and fixing anything that people brought to him. He enjoyed being with his many friends, going fishing and hunting, or just sitting out in his shop.

Bob is survived by his wife Mary; daughters Kim in Seattle and Bobbie and her husband Vic in Bonners Ferry, Idaho; son Mike in Shelby; and a number of grandchildren.

At his request, no services were held.
