The Columbia Falls Lions Club meets at 6:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays each month at the Back Room, in the same building as the Nite Owl Restaurant. Contact a Lions Club member for information about joining the organization.

West Glacier Restaurant will host a Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours social today (Thursday) from 5 to 7 p.m. The restaurant is located at 200 Going-to-the-Sun Road in West Glacier. The June edition of Business After Hours will be hosted by Gentry River Ranch. That event is Thursday, June 11, also from 5 to 7 p.m. Gentry River Ranch is located two miles south of Columbia Falls at 62 Gentry Way, off Columbia Falls Stage Road. Gentry Way is a new road at the end of Lewis Lane. Chamber members and guests are invited to attend the events.

Friday

The North Valley Senior Center will host a garage sale Friday and Saturday, May 15-16 at the center, located at 205 Nucleus Ave. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There will be lots of items at the sale, which is a fund-raiser for the Senior Center.

azz Café is Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. at Columbia Falls High School in the gymnasium foyer. It’s a café style environment complete with a dance floor. Refreshments are served. The admission cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

North Valley Eagles 4081, located at 1640 Highway 2 West in Columbia Falls, holds its monthly Steak Fry on Friday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. The meal features steak, baked potato, salad and vegetable. The cost is $10. The public is welcome. For reservations, call 892-4081.

Toby and Paula Abbott will be special guests for the Wednesday evening service on May 20 at Canyon Community Church in Coram. Toby Abbott, pastor of a cowboy church in Texas, will share his music and God’s word. The service begins at 7 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend.
