Great Northern Agency, the Allstate Insurance operation in Columbia Falls, is hosting a Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours barbecue on Thursday, July 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. The new location of the agency is inside the Cosley Building at 729 Nucleus Ave. Great Northern Agency is owned by Carrie and Mark Aageson. Lynn Kneedler is the Allstate licensed staff agent.

Farmer’s Market in Columbia Falls continues its second season Thursday, July 2. The market will be held each Thursday through Sept. 17 at Glacier Discovery Square, 540 Nucleus Ave., from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Grammy-nominated songwriter Brad Lee performs on the Main Stage while the Lucky Sons will be featured on the North Stage.With more than 50 vendors, the market provides a venue for the community to come together to enjoy tasty, local food, listen to quality music, and shop from local artisans and farmers. This week’s Farmer’s Market sponsor is Truby’s of Meadow Lake. Truby’s Wood-Fired Pizza is one of the market vendors.

The Columbia Falls Lions Club Summer Concert Series continues this evening (Thursday) at the Don Lawrence Amphitheater in Marantette Park. Music begins at 8 p.m.

Performing will be the Rocky Mountain Rhythm Kings, the musical group that performs on Tuesday evenings at Snappy Sport Senter in Kalispell. You’ll hear upbeat ragtime and Dixieland jazz from the Rhythm Kings. The group, which features from six to eight members, is led by Karla West. Donations of $3 per person or $5 per family are appreciated. The audience is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Featured during the July 2 Lions Club Summer Concert Series will be Penni Chisholm and David Merkel, joined by the Nutcracker Trio.
