Whitefish wins Cat/Dog Smoker

Columbia Falls won the main event, but Whitefish came out on top 7-5 in the Cat/Dog Smoker held Monday at Memorial Field in Whitefish.

The boxing competition raises nearly $15,000 for the Glacier Twins baseball team each year.

Shay Riley of C-Falls won by unanimous decision over Brian Flickinger of Whitefish in the main event at 180 pounds. That came after Orin Dugan of Whitefish defeated Dean Phillips by decision at 200 pounds in the semi-main event.
