The Columbia Falls Lions Club meets at 6:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays each month at the Back Room, in the same building as the Nite Owl Restaurant. Contact a Lions Club member for information about joining the organization.

Farmer’s Market in Columbia Falls continues today (Thursday) at Glacier Discovery Square in Columbia Falls. Hours are 5 to 7:30 p.m. More than 60 vendors will offer produce, arts and crafts and lots of tasty food. Thom Harris will be featured on the South Stage. He plays a lively blend of folk and country blues. Mike Jones performs on the North Stage. He offers a slice of the ’60s to present tunes, and throws in some of his own original acoustic rock. Perfect Cuts is the sponsor of this week’s market.

The Columbia Falls Community Choir will be featured during the Columbia Falls Lions Club Summer Concert Series final event of the year this evening (Thursday). The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Don Lawrence Amphitheater in Marantette Park. Ron Bond directs the choir, which features from 80 to 100 voices of people from all over the valley. Choir concerts are always varied and very entertaining. Donations of $3 per person or $5 per family are appreciated

The West Glacier Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market is featured every Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It is located at the West Glacier Mercantile west side parking lot on Going-to-the-Sun Road.

Camp Marshall, the Episcopal Church camp on Flathead Lake, will be holding a Day Camp the week of Aug. 10-14 at All Saints’ Episcopal Church. Children going into grades 2 to 7 are invited to attend this all-day camp Monday through Friday and enjoy games, crafts, swimming in Whitefish Lake, outreach and service projects, and Montessori-based Bible story hour. Snacks and transportation to and from swimming and activities are included in the fee of $65 for the week. Drop-off is between 7:30 and 9 a.m., and children should be picked up between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. All Saints’ is located at 2048 Conn Road, off Highway 40 between Columbia Falls and Whitefish.
