The Columbia Falls Lions Club meets at 6:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays each month at the Back Room, in the same building as the Nite Owl Restaurant. Contact a Lions Club member for information about joining the organization.

Farmer’s Market in Columbia Falls continues today (Thursday) at Glacier Discovery Square in Columbia Falls. Hours are 5 to 7:30 p.m. More than 60 vendors will offer produce, arts and crafts and lots of tasty food. Andrea Floyd performs on the Main Stage. Floyd has evolved into a multi-talented musician, renowned blues guitarist and front man for his band, Mood Iguana. Carmen Barnett will be featured on the North Stage. Rejuvenate Spa is the sponsor of this week’s market.

The Columbia Falls Lions Club Summer Concert Series continues this evening (Thursday) at the Don Lawrence Amphitheater in Marantette Park. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Performing will be Off the Record, On the Sly and the Bavarian Echoes. Off the Record, led by Eugenia Allan-Schmidt of Kalispell, is a group of fun-loving ladies who sing lively arrangements. Donations of $3 per person or $5 per family are appreciated. To kick off Heritage Days, the Flathead County Community Band performs for the July 23 Lions concert. The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a “warm-up” program by Al and Bonnie Lindborg.
