WEB UPDATE: Emslie named new BHS football coach

The Bigfork School Board voted to hire Todd Emslie as the new Bigfork high School football coach on Wednesday night.

Emslie replaces Bruce Corbett, who coached at BHS for two years.

Corbett's two seasons presiding over the Vikings did not yield a win and saw the controversial collapse and later death of BHS football player Jeff Bowman.

Emslie will be returning to the position he held up until the end of the 2003 season.
