Baccaro, Whitman, Kenfield win divisional wrestling titles

Sal Baccaro, Shawn Whitman and Kodie Kenfield won individual titles for Columbia Falls at the Northwestern A Divisional Wrestling Tournament held Saturday in Libby. The Mat Cats finished in fourth place. Ronan was the divisional champion, with Polson second and Libby third. Whitefish finished fifth.

Finishing second for the Mat Cats were Justin Whitman, Jarrett Smith, Doug Woodworth and Kelly Houle. Joe Gross and Brendan Moseman were third. Coming in fourth were Travis Province, Adam Richardson and Travis Pete. Those 12 Mat Cats qualified for the state tournament Feb. 13-14 in Billings.

Hunter Fishel, Russell Plevel, Kohl Thompson and Will Joubert were fifth, and Virgil Matt and Aaron Howland placed sixth.
