Columbia Falls girls, boys beaten by Polson

Columbia Falls suffered its first Northwestern A Conference girls basketball loss of the season, falling to Polson 37-33 Saturday in Polson. The Wildkats remain in first place in the league with a 6-1 mark. Kelsey DeWit led CFHS in scoring with 11 points.

In boys basketball Saturday, Polson handed Columbia Falls its fourth league loss of the season as the Pirates posted a 55-49 win on Larry Schmautz Memorial Court at CFHS. Mackey Nolan hit five 3-pointers and led the Wildcats with 24 points. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 3-4 in the Northwestern A.
