Holiday season has more than arrived

Christmas in Bigfork started way back in the middle of November with decorating the Village, but many of the local activities culminated last week.

In photos this week, you'll get a glimpse of several of them, including carriage rides on Electric Avenue, Santa stopping in the Lake View Care Center, and a number of children's holiday concerts. Events will settle down this week as people get ready to take some time to celebrate the season on a smaller scale with their families, though the lights will still twinkle downtown until Jan. 9.

Many local businesses, including our office, will be closed Friday, Dec. 25, to allow staff to celebrate the holiday.
