Douglas Leonard Strong

Douglas Leonard Strong (Radar to so many), 47, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 after a long, courageous battle at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. Doug was born April 19, 1962 in Bremerton, Wash., to Leonard "Sparky" and Nancy Strong.

Doug believed in living life to the fullest, and treasured the many friends that he shared his life with. Doug had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. He was a humble man and was always willing to help anyone, in any way he was able.

He brought happiness to all those that he touched, and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy; two brothers, Don and Jack; and a sister, Deborah.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at the Dam Town Tavern in Hungry Horse.
