Charles 'Chuck' Delaney

Charles "Chuck" Delaney died Sept. 22, 2009. He left his caring friends and family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 17, 1949. Spending more than half his life living in Flathead Valley, Chuck enjoyed 30 years hunting, fishing, cutting wood and spending time with people he loved.

Some of the people that will miss him the most include his significant other, Diane Schumm of Bigfork; mother, Bonnie Sue Banker of Como, Miss.; brother, Thomas Delaney of Como; daughter, Melissa Delaney-Sanford of Lincoln, Neb.; son, Matthew Delaney of Denver, Colo.; nephew, Colin Delaney of Arizona; niece Shelby Delaney of Como; and grandchildren, Bob, Frank, Rossi, Dylan and Mason.

A remembrance service will be held in his honor at the Tall Pine in Bigfork on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m.
