The Columbia Falls Lions Club meets at 6:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays each month at the Back Room, in the same building as the Nite Owl Restaurant. Contact a Lions Club member for information about joining the organization.

Farmer’s Market in Columbia Falls continues today (Thursday) at Glacier Discovery Square in Columbia Falls. Hours are 5 to 7:30 p.m. As many as 60 vendors will offer food, produce and arts and crafts. Jae Hatt, who plays folk rock music, will be featured on the South Stage. Classical pianist Don Kohnstamm performs on the North Stage. Summit Signs is this week’s market sponsor.

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen serves free, delicious meals the last four days of each month. This month’s meals are Friday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church.
