The Bulldog boys tennis team kept up their winning ways over the weekend, destroying both Stevensville and Ronan on the road by the same score, 6-1.

Travis Adams defeated Ronan's Colton Cheff, 8-1, at the No. 3 spot, then helped Jake Morrison get a win in the No. 2 doubles match against Stevensville. Ronan's Kyle Yankee helped the Chiefs avoid a sweep with an 8-1 victory over Nick Jack.

Against Stevensville, Zach Deister and Chase Pierce won a drawn-out battle against Ryan Dufrense and James Eazler in the No. 1 doubles match-up, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Earlier in the week on Tuesday, the Bulldogs swept Columbia Falls in a tennis dual. The girls scraped by with a 4-3 win, while the boys dominated in a 6-1 victory.

Kate Klundt defeated Lydia Freeman, of Columbia Falls, 6-1, 6-1, for the No. 1 singles win, while Meredith Reed picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 2 match-up.

The boys won three times in singles and all three doubles matches to take down the Wildcats. Columbia Falls' Vadim Zvyagelskiy spoiled a perfect score for Whitefish, winning a tight match, 6-6, (7-5), 6-3, over Joel Mallams.

Whitefish head coach Kathy Cummings said the boys JV matches against Columbia Falls were exciting to watch.
