Columbia Falls drops 11-3 softball decision to Polson

Polson built a 10-0 lead and cruised to an 11-3 Western A softball victory over Columbia Falls on Thursday in Columbia Falls.

Winning pitcher Charlee Jensen held the Wildkats to five hits while the Pirates pounded out 13 hits of Morgan Rowe.

Staci Bensen was 3-for-5 to lead the Polson offense. Cassidee Skiles and Renae Nelson had two hits each for Columbia Falls (1-1).

The Wildkats host Browning in make-up games Monday, then entertain Libby on Tuesday.
