Wrestlers fare well at state tourney

Bigfork Little Guy Wrestling Team took 12 boys to the state tournament in Columbia Falls last weekend and had two wrestlers bring home medals.

Wyatt Mischke took second place in the 70-pound weight class for the beginner division, which is for seven and eight year olds. Boyd Rieke placed third in the 110 weight class in the middle division, for 11 and 12 year olds.

"Even though we didn't have a lot in the top four, all of the boys did great and fought hard," said Team Manager Kelly Rieke.

Other boys from Bigfork who wrestled at the state meet were Bo Meyer, Vinny Quirk, Colton Oster, Garett Rieke, Colton Woll, Connor Meyer, Hunter Gomel, Andy Russell, Gus DiPaulo, and Tyler Iverson.
