Mural art

Oh give me a break. The city of Whitefish is going to make Mrs. Spoonover's remove its mural sign while not enforcing its restrictions on illegal billboards placed within Whitefish by national advertisement firms.

Why? Simple — it's a lot easier and cheaper to sue and pick on a local small merchant than to sue and pick a fight with a national advertising firm.

Funny that city attorney John Phelps can "delay" enforcing some sign regulations but can't let that mural get by one more day.

Logic and common sense no longer prevail at Whitefish City Hall, just good ol' boy, screw 'em to the wall selective-enforcement politics.

What a sorry bunch of fools we have elected to run our city.
