A surprise and a honor

Thanks to the Whitefish Community Foundation grant awards program Thursday at the O'Shaughnessy Center.

I want to thank the Whitefish Community Foundation for the "Big Fish Award." What a surprise and honor for me.

How many towns gather and return monies to worthy non-profit organizations as the Whitefish Community Foundation does?

Twenty-six non-profit groups enjoyed receiving grants to the tune of $91,000 this year — unbelievable.
