Philip Rumerfield

Philip Gale Rumerfield, 86, passed away May 10, 2008 at the Mountain Valley Care & Rehabilitation of Kellogg, Idaho.

He was born Nov. 19, 1921, at Dishman, Wash., the son of Frederick and Gertrude (Tibbits) Rumerfield.

Philip worked on the railroad for many years in Calder, Idaho and in Whitefish until he retired in 1977. He moved back to Idaho in 1995 to be closer to his sister, Rosetta Brown.

Philip loved and enjoyed being around his family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a kind and gentle man and will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bert; and two sisters, Beatrich Kelch and Rosetta Brown.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Cremation was held and there will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery of St. Maries, Idaho, in June.
