Creepy politics

| January 3, 2008 10:00 PM

The recent actions by Common Sense in Whitefish Government and its founder, Rick Blake, are disappointing and downright creepy.

Delving into John Muhlfeld’s personal life is an obvious last-ditch effort to undermine an election in which most of Common Sense’s supported candidates were defeated.

Hiring a private investigator to dig up dirt on Muhlfeld is petty politics and reflects very poorly on Common Sense and any of the associates. These are certainly not the type of people I want making decisions about the future of Whitefish.

The bottom line is Muhlfeld was overwhelmingly elected by Whitefish voters. For the past two years, he has served our community with sincerity and forethought. His fair and open-minded approach will serve Whitefish well for the next four years as we continue to grow and progress.
