Gotta Go progress

I'm pleased to announce that the "Gotta Go" campaign has culminated in the arrival of the long-anticipated public restrooms.

There is still a little plumbing work to be done, so the toilets should be operational by next week. Also, please be aware that there will be some additional construction this spring while the city installs sidewalks and landscaping.

Many thanks go to the individuals who donated toward the project, as well as the city and the Rotary Club of Whitefish. The Rotary Club oversaw the collection of donations and was the largest donor to the project. Rotary has spent years and many thousands of dollars to upgrade the Kiddie Park into a user-friendly, high-quality environment for Whitefish families.

The collaborative efforts of all those involved is yet another example of how much those who live here care about this community, and it makes me proud to call Whitefish home.
