Bradley Williams

| March 8, 2007 10:00 PM

Bradley Michael "Brad" Williams, 19, passed away with one of his best friends, Kyle, in a place they called "God's Land" near Plains, as a result of an accident March 3, 2007.

He was born Dec. 13, 1987, in Kalispell, to Steve and Carla (Miller) Williams.

It wasn't the clothes Brad wore, the shoes he had on his feet, but his heart and soul that made him the most unique, never proud, young man who everyone loved. His heart was bigger than Montana; he loved all animals, old people and children. His piercing blue eyes and smile would light up any room. You may have met Brad as a stranger but you left as a friend (unless you were picking on his buddies or a girl).

Brad loved his "little, Big Brother" Jimmy and his sister Aimee so much, always wanting to protect her. One of the most important times of Brad's life was birthday shopping with his Gramma Bunnie and listening to his Grampa Norm's bad jokes.

There is a special place called Red Gate where Brad, his dad, along with his brother, sister and family from Washington spent many hours making many memories. It was his dream to someday live there and live off the land. There wasn't a mountain or stream that Brad didn't want to conquer. Brad was always happiest with family, friends or just running off by himself in the woods.

Brad will be missed by all who knew and loved him. "This is not a good-bye — it's only until we meet again. We love you, Braddy."

Brad was also blessed to have met an incredible teacher, Judy Doxtater, in elementary school. Judy remained his best friend until the day he passed away. At the time of his death, he was working with his stepfather Lonnie at LT Heating and Cooling, hoping to run the business someday.

Brad is survived by his father, Steve Williams, of Whitefish; his mother and stepdad, Carla Hayek and Lonnie, of Somers; sisters Aimee Williams and Heather Hayek, of Somers; brother Jimmy Williams, of Kalispell; nephew Tommy and niece Korbyn, also of Somers; grandparents Jim and Patty Williams, of Spokane, Norm and Bunnie Miller, of Kalispell, and Tom and Peg Hayek, of Somers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who had a deep love for Braddy.

Funeral services took place March 7, 2007, at the Cowboy Church, with Doug Miller officiating. Burial followed at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
