Stop bickering, keep Safeway

After reading the article in the Whitefish Pilot about the city council wrestling with the minute problems they were having with approving the expansion of the Safeway store, a letter in the Daily Inter Lake on June 9 caught my eye.

The letter was written by David W. Leaser, a Kalispell area resident, and was titled "Keep it up, Whitefish, Kalispell needs a Safeway."

If the Whitefish city council bickers too long on their decision, this is exactly what will happen. Safeway will graciously check out of Whitefish.
