A time to say thanks

One thing I think most of us forget to do in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season is count our blessings.

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our law enforcement officers, fire fighters, servicemen and women, and all the people, paid and volunteer, who give of themselves to keep our lives safe.

As we go to bed at night, we will not worry or be afraid because they are out there giving of themselves. Hopefully they will all have a safe and happy holiday season.

Merry Christmas and God bless them for the job they do.
