Rough weather doesn't deter triathletes

A big crowd turned out for the Whitefish Lake Triathlon at City Beach on Sunday. The swim portion was a half-mile point-to-point race, and most competitors looked a bit chilly when they got out of the water. The top 10 finishers were 1, Scott Gaiser (1:02:48); 2, men's team of Phillip Rempe, Zack Heskell and Dan Howell; 3, Warren Molnar; 4, Geoff L'Heureax; 5, Jeremy Oury; 6, Ted Burnham; 7, mixed team of Erin Peterson, Kevin Forman and Steve Leger; 8, Erik Anderson; 9, Somers Bay Cafe Team of Kaci and Ginger Yachachak and Jason Keister; and 10, Seth Watkins.
