Environmental club grateful

| April 5, 2007 11:00 PM

The Whitefish High School Environmental Club would like to thank Cory Cullen, of New World Recycling, for speaking at our most recent meeting.

Cory's talk was both educational and motivational, making it clear that, by taking just a few small steps, we can significantly improve our environment. Namely, we can be more conscious of what we buy and how we dispose of it.

Recycling is tremendously patriotic — it saves trillions of kilowatts of energy every year, conserves our natural resources, keeps our nation's air, water and soil cleaner by reducing pollution, and creates jobs all over the country.

Cory has made recycling even easier in the Whitefish area. For a nominal fee, he will come by with his colorful trailer and pick up your recyclables at your curb.

Give him a call at 257-7855, and take the first step toward greater self-reliance.

Keep it green.
