Woods Bay sewer committee to meet

The Greater Woods Bay Sewer Committee along with the Woods Bay and Sheaver's Creek Water and Sewer Districts will hold a public meeting on Friday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m., in the basement of Bethany Lutheran Church, 8559 MT Hwy 35, in Bigfork.

This is the second public meeting on the status of the proposed wastewater project in Woods Bay. The engineering firm Morrison-Maierle, Inc. will be present to discuss progress on the project, review the general timeline, and technical findings to date. Additional topics covered will be districting and the land use survey. There will be an opportunity to ask questions on the project during this one hour meeting.

The Greater Woods Bay Planning Area extends from the Lake/Flathead County line on the north, to Mauzey Creek on the south, and on both sides of Montana Highway 35. Neighborhoods included in this project are those of the Woods Bay and Sheaver's Creek Water and Sewer Districts, Woods Bay Point (Yenne Point), Romain Estates, Yenne Point Road, White Cap Lane, Shore Acres, Orchard Lane, Community Lane, Ridgewood Estates, Sylvan Drive, and other areas not specifically within these named areas.
