| February 2, 2006 10:00 PM

Maisie Buersmeyer (nee Carr)went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 25, 2006.

Maisie was born in Whitefish on June 23, 1924, and grew up with a love for the outdoors, (except when it was hot) and a greater love for people. Throughout her life, Maisie lived and volunteered in numerous cities and communities across America, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha, Denver and Bend.

The Cerebral Palsy Assoc., Catholic Charities, The Open Door Society, Hospice, and Grandma's House of Bend, Ore., for teenage unwed mothers, are just a few of the ways she served and touched the lives of many people.

Though she left earlier than we would have liked, Maisie lived a long and full life, She gave both joy and unconditional love to her beloved husband, children, family, and friends. She will be missed beyond words.

"I have you in my heart." Philippians 1:7

Maisie was also the proud "Moeke" to 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
